Privacy first, with data that stays under your control.

1. What information CallMinder uses

When you create reminders, the app may store information such as contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, reminder schedules, notes you enter, selected communication channel preferences, and reminder history needed to manage recurring or completed actions.

2. Contacts permission

If you allow contacts access, CallMinder can help you select a person from your address book while creating or editing a reminder. Contacts permission is optional. If you do not grant it, you can still type contact details manually.

3. Notifications and live reminder surfaces

CallMinder asks for notification permission so it can show reminder alerts at the time you choose. On supported devices, the app may also use system features such as Live Activities to present active reminder or snooze status on Apple-controlled surfaces like the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island.

4. Local storage and iCloud sync

• Reminder records are stored locally on your device.
• If you turn on iCloud sync, your reminder data is synchronized with your private iCloud / CloudKit data store.
• CallMinder does not operate its own server for your personal reminder content.
• You can turn sync off from the app settings at any time.

5. Analytics and crash diagnostics

CallMinder uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app stability and broad usage patterns, such as crashes, performance issues, and aggregate feature usage. This information is used to improve reliability and product quality. CallMinder is not designed to track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your reminder content with advertisers. Data may be processed by Apple when you use iCloud sync and by Firebase services used for analytics and crash reporting. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect legal rights.

7. Retention and deletion

You can edit or delete reminders in the app. You can remove local data from the device, disable iCloud sync, and delete cloud data from the sync settings provided by the app. If you uninstall the app, local app data on the device is removed by the operating system, while iCloud-synced data may remain in your private iCloud account until you delete it.

8. Children’s privacy

CallMinder is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly design the app to collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the updated version will be posted at this URL and will take effect when published.
